Student Support Group

Membership: Moderated

Professional education support for students.  This space is for students looking for on-demand and theory-led one-on-one or one-to-group support in the areas of complexity, resilience and Knowledge Management. This is a subscription-based group (a one-off fee of £99/year), led by Dr. David Griffiths, that provides professional support for under graduate and post graduate students.  Please contact David (david@theknowledgecore) for information on gaining access.

K3-Cubed is a University of Edinburgh funded start-up company.  Our education programmes were developed and applied on post-graduate courses at the University and were also offered in the form of Stage 1, 2 and 3 Professional Development Certificate at the University.  We only work with select partners and all of our courses are internally verified by our Scientific Advisory Board, headed by Brian Martin (retired Director of Quality for the University of Edinburgh).  Our courses are also externally verified, for content and quality, by an independent observer appointed on an annual basis.

All our staff have to fulfill three criteria:

  • hold a post graduate qualification relevant to the field
  • be a practicing Knowledge Manager and/or KM, complexity or resilience consultant with a minimum of 10 years experience in the field
  • have experience in delivering adult education programmes

The Resilient Knowledge Management Practice programme is managed by Dr. David Griffiths. David holds a PhD in Knowledge management from the University of Edinburgh.  David has lectured at the University of Edinburgh, developing the K-Net industry engagement project and the KM Professional Development Certificates.  His research into KM was highly commended by the Emerald Literati Network Awards in 2012 and his work was recognised by Edinburgh Research and Innovation, who funded the start-up of K3-Cubed in 2010.
